Only those who have seen themselves confronted with these creatures shaped out of the material elements, will truly understand how much awe these magical beings inspire in one or the other adventurous wanderer.

Typically, when thinking of a golem, these colossi of stone and rock are the first that come to mind. While some sources insist golems are invulnerable, others claim to have overcome such a creature. The latter, however, should be taken not only with a grain of salt, but rather with a whole barrel.

The only plausible report of a battle against such a leviathan is a written record by a mercenary. He described in intricate detail how the blunt hits of his war hammer caused cracks in the golem's form, until it eventually burst asunder.
