In the center lies the material sphere with its four elements: earth, water, fire and air - that which is transient - while within its heart lies the inexpressible darkness of Beliar. But then above everything stretches the heavenly sphere.

Within the cosmic hierarchy, man is a receiver. His very soul is that which reaches into the highest state of existence: the divine spirit, and yet his body is ephemeral, made from the substance of the material sphere. A reflection of a whole - all the world in a minuscule vessel.

The synodic period of the planets, that is, the span of time between two identical positions in relation to the meridian of our world, shifts by several degrees each passing century. From this we may conclude that we are in constant motion, bound in a ceaseless journey with the whole of the cosmos.

Establishing a calendar, we looked first to the course of the moon, so as to remain aligned with the true length of the solar cycle.
